About the Event
Imbolc falls in the middle of winter, halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox; although this is often the coldest and harshest time of the year, Imbolc marks the stirring of new life within the Earth. This is a time to awaken from our winter slumber, shed what we no longer need from the old year and find inspiration in the world to bring new ideas into being.
Our Imbolc gathering will start with a beautiful ceremony to honour the turning of the Wheel of the Year, then we will consider the significance of Imbolc to our ancient pagan ancestors, and reflect on what Nature has to teach us at this time and how we can use this wisdom to develop and grow ourselves through a guided meditation.
In Celtic traditions, the goddess Brigid is widely celebrated at Imbolc and we will take a shamanic journey to meet with Her for divine guidance at this time then close the ceremony to end our evening.
Once you have booked your place, you will receive an email with more details of the gathering.
