Plant Spirit Healing Workshops
Plant spirit medicine is an aspect of shamanic work in which we work with the botanical properties and spirits of native flowers, trees and herbs for wisdom, guidance and healing. The natural world has much to teach us and plants are the most willing of teachers, sharing their wisdom and healing generously with us.
These half day workshops will help you learn how to consciously deepen your connection with native plants through learning about each one individually and how to use it in daily life, meditation, ceremony and journeying, and in doing so restore your sacred relationship with yourself and the natural world. The workshops are suitable for anyone interested in their own personal and spiritual development as well as those who wish to support others on their healing journeys. No previous experience with plant spirit medicine is required.
The workshops are scheduled to coincide with the eight festivals of the Celtic Wheel of the Year and throughout the year we will be working with: rosemary, nettle, hawthorn, yarrow, lemon balm, elder, mugwort and juniper. Each plant represents in some way the energy of the season and in every workshop, you will:
-
explore the history, folklore and healing properties of the plant and learn how our ancestors would have used it
-
learn how to recognise the plant and work with it safely and respectfully
-
experience the spirit of plants using all your senses
-
learn how to work with the plant for healing on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels
-
prepare your own simple and safe herbal remedy to take home with you
-
participate in a sacred tea ceremony to honour the spirit of the plant
-
meet your plant spirit ally and gain wisdom, guidance and healing through guided shamanic journeying

All the workshops are held at my home in Papworth Everard, in Cambridgeshire. Please see the individual event listing for the dates and times of each workshop.
